Re: Oil film on throttle body! Coming from your PCV most likely. Not nececarily faulty, seems to be quite common on the LS1's. Do you have an oil consumption problem?

Re: Oil film on throttle body! When I took off my TB this past weekend, I turned it around to check it from the back and the whole back of the plate contained a film of dirty oil.
I just cleaned it and went back to work <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
I've seen this on plenty of other cars also.
