Re: Pulley cause high RPM miss???
The pully is not supposted to be installed with the impact.Therefor it was probably not removed properly. If you pulled it off with a jaw type and not a bolt type you may have warped it just enough to cause the misfire.I have seen this before.

I have atap but did not check for miss as such, the problem was at about 4 k was showing 3.9 kr hold same kr as rpm going up,at 6200 showing about 2 kr and tinning drop down to 20 - 22, almost every time at about 52=5300rpm car would miss or hesatate (or do some thing )as stated before talk to several people who were suppose to
know all say some car do this ( hesatation @ 5200) with under drives pulley and some time a little bit even with stock pulley, i do not know if Inad problem with stock pulley or not as i have been running over drive pulley oner 1 1/2 years couple of months ago i changed to a differant under drive pulley and instant NO miss or hesatation at 52-5300 >>NONE< pulls strong all way up to 6250 and Very little KR ( 0.8-0.9 only)
timming stay at 26-27 and the Only thing I did to fix the problem was change the "other " under drive pulley
sorry for so long a reply , just hope this helps some one else fix problem which cost me money and a 1 1/2 year in time

Re: Pulley cause high RPM miss???
I changed the plugs on my 97 GTP and had missing. It turned out that I either damaged a plug wire or didn't have it back on the plug completely. The dealer was nice and warranty replaced the whole set of wires - it ran perfect then.
