getting a great deal on a cam
specs at .050
216 - 220 duration .525 - .532 lift on a 114.0
i have stock manifolds and stock cats, cam comes with a double roller timing chain and gears, ls6 springs, hardened pushrods. im getting everything for an absolute steal. my car will be keeping the stock manifolds and cats and will see 100-150 dry, 1998 z28 with a built 4l60e and a 2600 stall.
the car is getting a hidden dry kit and will be street raced, mostly hustling.
good cam?

my motor has 125k miles anyway, so i was gonna be getting valve springs, p-rods, and a timing chain, now this deal comes with the cam and its SOO cheap i can't even post it. just wanted to see some thoughts on the specs of the cam.

hustling will only last so long. the first guy you beat with a H/C combo, while you claim to be stock, and the jig is up.
I had a vigilante 2800 in my car and hated it. It would launch out of the hole good, then immediately fall on its face. I upgraded to a yank 3500 and then had problems getting DR's and E.T streets to hook.
My advice would be to get a setup that is fun and meets your personal goals, not just to try and hustle people, because those stock manifolds and cats are going to kill your potential power.
But yes, it should be very quiet.
