almost any auto parts place should carry them.

I run TR6 in my cam only car because i have quite a bit of advancement in my timing. I have had no problems and it runs strong.

The Auto Zones here do not have NGK. Advanced Auto has them too.

looking at Advance Autos website... They do not have a TR6 plug. they have TR5...

G-Power Single Platinum; TR5GP; @ Gap .040 @

Iridium IX Series; TR5IX; @ Gap .040 @

V-Power Spark Plug; TR5; @ Gap .040 @

Laser Series Iridium Spark Plug; ITR5F13; @ Gap .040 @

V-Power Spark Plug; TR5.....then regap it to .055 The TR5 is a TR55, it just comes with a different factory gap so its called a TR5.

i dunno... i'm making about 450rwhp and I have the TR55's... they seem to be working good... I kept them at the gap out of the box... I think it was like .05

eric the goalie, where are you located?

i had tr6 in my car when i got it, and swapped to tr55. i noticed NO difference in idle, mid or high end performance.
cam and bolt on 346.

NAPA sells them too. I run TR6's in mine, idles better than the TR55's did.

I've also got TR7,8,9,10 as well

they have them, just not listed for our cars since its not the stock heat range. napa and advance both should have them in stock.......

Tr55's burn hotter, better n/a plug. When you go nitrous make the switch to TR6's colder burning plug better for Nitrous Applications.

If you have stock CR... higher CR needs a colder plug also

A friend of mine just did a header swap on his TA. He replaced the plugs and wires and used TR55's. On one plug the ceramic part cracked as soon as he started tightening it. Then he had a misfire on #4 and #5. After checking the new wires over to ensure a better connection, he pulled the plugs and put in some AC platinum's laying around and the misfire went away. So I vote neither and say AC platinum plugs.
