I would have to say go ahead and go with the TR6s at this point in the game. General rule of thumb is it's time to switch to the colder plug when you go to nitrous or are 100rwhp over stock. If your not gonna run juice you can run a wider gap than what I do (.038 for the occasional N2O run)
I would say for all motor ~.045 gap would be a good starting point.

no nitrous you will only need 55s at most. you will make more power and he is right on a .045 gap mine are 6s set at .028 other wise they would blow out 200 shot. im deff losin power on a 28 gap and 6s.
go 55s

i do not see nitrous in the IMMEDIATE future...
i was leaning towrds the 55's....however, 4 to 1 as of now for the TR6's makes me think...
I need more replies though with the votes

I use TR55's in mine gapped at .50 Pulled a plug out last night and it seems to be burning very well. However I will change them anyway as I try to change them every winter. As cheap as they are why not ??

Colder spark plugs remove heat quicker, reducing the chance of pre-ignition/detonation so if you have more compression than stock, this is important.

-NGK's site said you should reduce the gap (about .004" for every 50 hp you add). I believe the stock gap is .060 so that'd be .052.

so should I spring for some TR6's, throw themon then take a look at em after a few miles....I already have the TR55's, but I havent gotten the heads yet soooo
Will the colder plug hurt HP or TQ
ALSO do the TR6's come gapped appropriately or will I have to gap them?
I plan on puishing around 450 RWHP

With that said. A BP7EFS would be a great all around plug for what you are building and even on the juice. less heat, less chances of pre ignition = more sustainable engine loads and power potential. Id run a TR6 for a stock internal bolt on car..LOL
