I'll know for sure when I get my car re-dynoed. I got 449/428 with the stock intake, but now I have the FAST, and though it needs a tune, it feels REALLY strong. Not very scientific, but I'll know in time....

Any thoughts on the 78mm FAST with H/C 346? I know the intake itself isn't all that much cheaper than the 90mm, but it can use a stock TB, so you save some bucks there. I already have the LS6 intake...

first off, for all of you guys saying get the ls6 intake, if you'd read my sig. you'd know I have a 2002 z-28 which means it came with an ls6 intake. Anyways, if I was to ever change or modify the intake, I doubt that I would have it ported. My feeling is, all of your mods are building toward some maximum goal. If i'm gonna do an intake, I'd rather get the bigger 90mm tb and the intake to go along with it. Obviously, if I wanted the most power I could possibly get, I'd go with a custom sheet metal intake that would add much more power. Anyways, thanks for all the replies and keep posting if you have more comments.

If yuo can borrow a LS2 intake and a 90mm TB from somebody they work pretty good. I have had mixed results with the fast.IF you know somebody who would be willing to let you borrow a FAST and a LS2 try all 3 pick the one that works best.

I went with the fast combo when i did my h&c package. I wish i would've kept my money. My car made 351 rwhp and 365 rwtq as a bolt on car. Very strong. After the install i made 434 and 396. So i gained 83 rwhp and 31 rwtq. I would bet anything that my ls6 intake and ported throttle body would've made very close to that. I contacted Tony about getting my intake ported and he quoted me $575.00. After thinking about that i decided i will pass on that and save my money towards a sheet metal. good luck in your decision.
