Aftermarket LS1 valve covers?...Anyone?

Aftermarket LS1 valve covers?...Anyone?
After I relocate my ignition coils, I want to polish and chrome my valve covers. Does anybody know if aftermarket chrome or polished aluminum valve covers are available.
If I can't buy a valve cover already done, I'll have to polish the ones I have. Does anyone know where I can get them chromed? Preferably a place that can do the polish and chrome together.
Thanks alot,
John

Here are the C5-R Covers. You could mount the coilpacks to the top of the valvecovers. These say "Agostino Racing" thanks to a nice CNC script though. I just sold this set to DerekH. THey have no provision for PVC, BUT they have a way cool oil jet provision over the rockers for when we all run our cars at the 24hours of LeMans
I used that as the PCV system vent initially, just routing it through steel braided lines to a small vent filter. They have no gasket groove (I just used Hylomar), but they have enough room for shaft rockers.

"piece o' cake". Just buy a set of 6 black stainless nuts and bolts, and drill the holes precisely. Bolt up, and go. Worked really well for me... (the rest of the car was kinda iffy... )

They will have the factory o-ring gasket in the cover so no issues loike the c-5r covers and the gasket seal.
The rails are billet and rest of cover tigwelded aluminum, should be a real nice piece of work

then relocate the coil packs so you can see them and besides, coil packs are u-g-l-y, IMO
That is the ONLY reason i slapped on some 'vette rail covers.

Nick, are these going to be for the '99 and up heads only, or will you also have some perimeter bolt valvecovers to fit us lowly 97-98 owners?

FWIW
I have 2 designs 1 "tall" that will clear a rocker shaft system and a "short" for stock height applications. Our covers are a complete 1 piece billet design that accepts the factory seal for stock sealing. I have pics if you want to take a look.

Re: Aftermarket LS1 valve covers?...Anyone?
Help anybody!!!
I'm planning to mount the coil packs under the cowl. Do you know where I can get an ignition wire kit so that I can make the wires just the right length. I talked to a local speed shop and he told me that the LS1's have a different type of coil ends on the wires and that the standard do-it-yourself kits (accel) won't work.
One other thing, I'm having a hell of a time getting the windshield wiper arms off. Is there a locking clip or anything holding these things on. I removed the hex nut and tried a little battery post puller but that failed badly.
Please help,
Thanks alot,
John

Visceral, do you have any other close-up pics of your coil packs? I'm trying to get a better picture of how you mounted these. And yes, pics from any of the sponsors of their new valve covers would be awesome.

Check out LG motorsports. Lou Gig. did a relocation package on his personal vette that looked bad as hell. Its in the new issue of GM HP. Looked like he mounted them on top of the fuel rail covers so you could see the valve covers. Looks pretty cool IMO.

I am having the EXACT problem as you with the windshield wiper arm. Haven't found a cure to get them off yet. The drivers side is gonna be fun ain't it Check my topic in the "body" section and I'll let you know if I get them off.
Secondly, plug wires you will need is a TAY-73255 wire set. This is a custom Taylor spiro pro set. Mine is red. After a week of deciding wich way to go with the wires I chose this one where I know they will be perfect in length. Hope this helps. These wires come with the spark plug end attached, all you have to do is cut them and put the coil pack end on
