Default I had some interesting dyno results today!

Went to the dyno today since the car has had about 2000 miles on the car since the heads were installed. We dynoed when first put the heads on and only had 30 or so miles on the PCM a few months ago and did 428rwhp and 390rwtq.

Usually for all dynos we take off the muffler and tailpipes on the random tech catback to dyno...basically a straight pipe over the axle. Anyway it did 431rwhp and 405rwtq today! Oh yea the extra torque was nice to see. Well I wanted to see how much power was being lost through the muffler and tailpipes that make this car much quieter.

428rwhp and 397rwtq!!! I couldn't believe the exhaust was that good! I was really expecting to see a 10 or more hp loss. The uncorrected numbers were pretty sweet too..439rwhp and 412rwtq.

This goes to prove a few things, you don't need a big valve in your stage 2 heads and the random tech is a great flowing exhaust in my book!

Btw, forgot to mention the valves are 2.02/1.60 ferrea's.

Still wonder what the car would do with longtubes?

Smoke, you have got to be one of the highest dyno'ing 346's through a 12 bolt. 431 rwhp is a lot of fuggin power. And you're doing it through Mac's . Luckily you can reflect those dyno #'s at the track, unlike some of the dyno ****** around here .

VERY NICE Mark! You dyno-***** (hehe)

And all that power from a 221/221 cam, the big cam guys will be sick!

Thats really cool. Both the #s and the exaust info. I really like it when folks make great #s with the exhaust still on. THats how we drive'em, ya know?

Im going to have to start looking at a Random tech along with my current quest for a corsa. The Mufflex 4" is just way the F&*( too loud for ME.

And I LOVE WS6 Formulas. My dream car would be a Formula WS6 with a SLP Firewhawk style hood. (The normal WS6 style hood is too much for my tastes).

Congrats on the new dyno #s It's good to know the B1 cam still makes awsome power even over 400rwhp level. Im very impressed that the random tech cat back did so well. I'm thinking of putting a Hooker cat back on mine after seeing that it flows as well through the muffler Vs. the cutout.

My cheesey flowmaster muffler has got to go after i compared my dyno #s. I lost 19rwhp and 3tq through the flowmaster Vs. the cutout
