I just put these

in, and now I'm thinking I'm gonna have to raise it some, maybe with the 1LE springs!! Opinions/Suggestions?

I have the Slp Longtubes with my car at the stock height and I have clearence issues on the right side because the header hangs a bit to low. everytime I go over a speed bump I break a sweat because I have to go over it so carefully.

When you say clearance issues, have you actually hit anything with them yet? I didn’t think that stock ride height cars were having any problems. None of the guys I know with them have this issue? Please advise...

well yes if i go slowly with both tires at the same time over a speed bump the right side header will scrape on the way down no matter how slow i come down. what I do to not let this happen is that just before I go over a speed bump i'll angel the car so that one tire(fronts) will go up on the speed bump at a time. I usually let the drivers side tire go up first and as it comes completely down the passenger side tire comes up and when I come back down slowly the pass header never scrapes the speed bump. hope this helps.

So it’s just a speed bump issue then? What I’m asking is, have you ever scraped them just like coming out of a steep drive ramp onto a higher street? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense. Have you ever scraped them anywhere except speed bumps?

the answer is a few times. like i said I have broken a sweat many times with these headers but the performance is awesome.
Definately not the best choice on a lowered car, though.
