Thx!
If I put these on a stock LS1 Head, will these work with the stock valve seats? Am learning here..
The reason S1 heads and people use 2.02/1.57's is cuz they work with stock seats & guides, right??

yep....don't recon you have to go to 1.57" exhaust...can get 80% ratio with 1.55" for what it is worth.

Re: Looking for 2.02 1.57 Valves with Stock valvestems
I've seen Ferrea, REV, and Manley in 8mm LS1 size. The Ferrea's are most expensive and then they go down in the order above.
Most go the 2.02 1.57 Route because 1) they are the largest that will fit in the stock seats, 2) they are about as large as you can go without serious shrouding of the valve by the side of the head or the cylinder wall, and 3) a bigger valve than stock allows a new fresh valve grind on virgin material because it sits wider on the seat, and 4) who's gonna buy aftermarket valves that are stock in size? Profit!
If you're looking for a set of valves....email me I might be able to help you. I hope that helps.

have found the std size 1.55" exh Ferrea out flows the stock valve by a week....they do them in 2 shapes on the back of the valve....this is where the improve comes from the std exhaust seat is cut not utilising the valve area available...this is also an area where improvement is found. Which everway it will work....just be careful of how much exh. % you end up with.

Thx everyone!
So, they will work with the stock seats too.
Someone local said something about a 3 angle cut valve job? Is that necessary?
If you slap these valves onto our stock heads, what other work do you need to do? Lap them in? Do the seats need modifications?
What Intake/Exhaust flow ratio is ideal for a SC setup?
