MSD 8.5 plug wires? good?

I am still on the stock plug wires @ 59,000 miles and wondered if the msd plug wires are good for an ls1? will my stock metal sleeves slide over them? any radio noise from these?

A year ago there were some quality control issues with MSD wires, not being consistent in OHMs from wire to wire. Haven't heard anything one or another in a while.

I use Taylors.

I've been running the MSDs for a while now with no apparent problems. I've run them with the sleeves but currently am not. The only time I've had radio noise was after a motor washdown for a few days, and I was too lazy to pull the wires. But this was right after I got it out of the body shop and there was bondo dust every freakin' where.

I use the MSDs, no metal sleeves.

They ohmed out at 25 ohms each, with 10,000 miles on them. My stock ones ohmed out at 275 ohms at 25,000 miles.

I had a set of Taylors that ohmed out at 100 ohms.

I am with Pro Stock John completely. My stock wires ohmed 265 at 2400 miles and my MSD's ohmed 26. MSD = great wires. I have them on 3 of my vehicles. And would buy them again. Oh and I don't use the sleeves on my LS1, and there is no radio noise.
