I would still go with the 224/224 114. That is a very proven cam.

Speaking purely about cams i that on a N/A motor the same cam grind #'s with a difference in the LSA.

With a 112 LSA you will make better low end torque vs. the 114, the 114 will not make any more peak hp then the 114. Hence the 112 is better. This stating that all things being equal the 114 will make 1st gear suck compared to the 112 and once each hits the power band the race will be done with the 112 LSA car beating the 114.

Although if mated with some FI the 114 will make over all better power. (not saying this cam is a FI spec grind, its just that comparing the 2, the 114 would fair better).

As for emissions a set of brand new cats and lean tune will pass yea easily.

i love my fm13 114 lsa. absolutely no problems with the cam.

I never had any problems with the one in the camaro either. Oh yeah and it loved a 150 shot
