Hey dont get me wrong, I just thought it would calm the naysayers down thats all <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
I am looking forward to hearing how the car runs! I am sure it will go tens or at least 11.0's first time out. What other mods are you planning to get the raceweight down? With that much power and a heavy curbweight you might run into tranny issues with even a built 4L60E. Maybe a 4L70 in your future or a TH350? <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
Best of Luck,
Chris

Hey Joel, very nice numbers indeed! Should be a fun season at the track <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Would you be able to bring the car to the Pottstown Dyno sometime? I want to know how far off that thing is. I've been told -20 rwhp from there to Second Street Speed. Have you heard anything about that?

Sorry Chris I know u have my back.I'm just sick of these flamers.

I will have info on the MACS VS Dynatechs very soon.

Dave and Julio said I will lose some HP threw the 12-bolt but still believe 420+ will be easy w/this setup.

Your buddy (PA) said he had his Dyno calibrated?

Dave P put down over 400 at Cartek
Carteks dyno is on,U can believe that.

All I want to do is run 10's w/my fat *** in the car.

Yeah Joel, I have never taken a car from the Pottstown dyno to another one so I don't know for sure. I would like to try and find a car that has a baseline somewhere else and then try it on that one. He did contact DynoJet and they said there was nothing wrong but the owner himself has said that it seems to read lower than others.

I guess when I finish up Dave's or my car, we can run it to Pottstown then to Second Street Speed to see what the difference is.

Nnnaaaaa... Joel won't need a short-block, Dave's been shifting his once , twin-turbo-equipped, raced for 7000-mile short block for a while shifting that high.. Up to that point, there shouldn't be a problem, there hasn't been in the past..

You just make it ssoooo easy.. Just because it takes you a shot of laughing gas to run in the 11s (damm, five supposed 11-sec cars and you still can't get it right???), doesn't mean anyone else needs it. And, judging by your numbers posted, especially the mph, you aren't making anywhere near the numbers you claim.
<hr></blockquote>

2 of the cars ran 11s NA, 1 with a blower, and the other 2 with a little happy gas. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> My 2001 Z28 runs NA. So since I run almost 119mph with my 400rwhp, we should see 123-4mph out of JS's car now right? I can't wait to see what it runs at the track. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Also Abe I didn't notice a sig in your last post, what does your car run at the track?

Mikey,

While I didn't do it in the same day, I've experienced Pottstown being lower than Second Street Speed. I've heard that the pottstown place has an up-to-date dyno while second street speed still have the dyno where you manually adjust the weather station. I could only assume cartek has the new kind with a automatic weather station. Anyway, just sharing what I experienced, right or wrong.

BTW, GREAT NUMBERS JS!!! <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I dont want a war started about my setup.
I told everyone I was towing the line

I will race anyone anytime but just do Bob knows.
Bob 2of3 is my friend,I respect Bob VERY MUCH becasue he is honest guy.I know most of the guys on here r,But Bob is just a good friend/guy.

There's no doubt in my mind his car will run well.I just wanted that out in the open.
Bob I wish u the best..

Now for my opinion
In the end I built my car for ME.I want to try and run tens on motor.thats my goal.If anyone beats me Great,More power to them.I just want a 10 sec slip outta MY car.So this shop VS shop BS can stop right now.Its silly nonsense. All the sponsers have good stuff.

After my mom passed I reavaluated my arrogant behavior on this board and find it in bad taste.I said alot of bad things and went on fishing expeditions trying to start nonsense.Well its over.I'm gonna be a friend to all that want me as a friend.I wish EVERYONE who's a HARDCORE racer a big good luck with your projects.Maybe we all can get those 10 sec slips together?

Lastly,It really upsets me that someone I know would email Terry Burger with LIES and FALSE
information.I found out threw the grapevine who did it and I'm very angry.

So I want it stopped NOW.
I'm done with the BS.

Good luck to all,we should have new numbers for the DYNATECHS very soon.We r making a verter change in the next few days along with the new trans.

No one emailed me lies! You're the one not being honest about your setup. I can only assume that with the Thunder 224 cam only did 407rwhp and you threw in a new cam (looks like 229-232 duration from the dyno chart) to save face and come out with decent numbers. Or maybe the car made 407rwhp with the converter unlocked? Either way why are you lying about it? It's not like it matters that much.

432rwhp from a locked auto is what MMS has seen on their A4 cars with much less expensive LS1 heads and the 229v2 cam, so those are not great numbers by any means. Also you're not being honest when you compare this new setup to your old setup. If I remember your old setup made 375rwhp with an unlocked converter and slicks. What does the new setup make with the converter unlocked and slicks?

Terry, you're a Dick. I'm sure you'll always be
a Dick and I'm sure you've always been a Dick.
Leave the guy alone. He has better numbers and
his car is probably faster than yours.Deal with it.
Be concerned with your car, not his.
There may be a 12 step program for what you have..... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Getting back on topic, I'm not going to let off JS until he admits he was lying before. I know it, he knows it, and he's just playing stupid and avoiding it. It's pretty aggravating!

Terry I will tell u everything
The cam is not the TR cam,Joe has that now I sold it back to him.Ask him yourself.

Now my JPR S1 setup dynoed 375RWHP/355RWTQ LOCKED!!That was with the TR cam.I was VERY happy with that number outta a S1 headed car,Funny how u used to call it a SNEEKY S2 setup?

U can ask Pete,Miraih,Joe,Mike,Phil, and a whole bunch of other people about it.That was the day Miriah had her Dyno day at Cartek and they all saw what i made LOCKED.

Joe knows this setup is more radical than my old setup.Actually t\Terry,evertyone knows that.I'm not comparing the 2 setups.Joes setup worked great in my car.Whats your point.

No one knows u at Cartek so how did u get your info,Terry.U have the ***** to tell us who gave u this supposed classified info? What an liar u r.

Terry we never ran the TR cam once with the new heads.Julio has his own grinds.Joe came and got the TR cam and my old heads 3 days ago.U r a wierdo buddy.Go ask your new buddy from NJ about that.I know whats going on here,I'm the best at cutting someone at the knees.Your still a school girl playing with her licorice,Terry.

I dont care if u believe me or not but these r the FACTS.U r a troll who likes to start BS.

Maybe Julio will post the info about the setup if he feels like it.We have more testing to do and I'm getting the car ready to rumble in the next few weeks.

OTHER MODS going in the car in 2 weeks
K-member,A-arms,Manual Rack,Hals,Weld 15X10's,
lighter seat,Tq arm,and a 12-bolt.

U can bet I'll be ready very soon...
