If the engine is turning 6500rpm the dyno will indicate 6500rpm regardless of the MPH of the roller. What you're trying to describe would require a power vs MPH plot. You'd have to show that while the MPH indicated at the roller was Ymph, doing the calculations on the gearing and rpm it should have been (Y-Z) mph. This would show the amount of tranny slip.

Sorry Terry, but many dynos compute an RPM per MPH using a sampling process and do not directly compute it from the ignition lead. I don't know what Cartek uses, (I need to see the full printout to know if that it is case) but it is a very common problem when dynoing A4s with high stall converters to see the rpm curve shifted. Usually locking a converter eliminates that issue. A slipping tranny (or clutch in an M6) could distort the dyno reported rpms.

Since there is only one person in the business that you believe, call Mike Morgan and ask him. We went through this issue on Tom the Roofer's old set-up when his dyno showed him turning 7500 on a car with a 7000 rev limiter.

JS & Julio: I look forward to seeing the Dynatech/Mac comparison

Well I would like to take a monent to say I am sorry for the cursing that was wrong on my part . But I am not sorry for what I said to Terry Everyone works hard on their cars and the sponsors go above and beyond to help us reach our goals.. Then to have someone come on and make rude comments about there choice in sponsons and the Dyno numbers they make is wrong.

Colonel I want to say I am sorry about the cursing in the other post and it won't happen again.

Stop trying to get Terry Cheeseburger to be quiet! It gives the rest of us some comic relief after a long work week! Preach on Terry, your A-Ok in my book....Every board needs a few assclowns and you fit the bill perfectly!

By the way Terry, remember a few weeks back you were bashing MTI's cams, saying how they sucked down low? I responded to you asking you how come I cut two 1.64 short times and a 1.65 short time using an MTI cam with my tiny Vig 2800 convertor if my MTI cam has no low-end? I 'believe' thats the best 60 ft time anyone has gotten from the Vig 2800 at 3400+ lbs launching on motor. I have stock gears as well. I really need some low end torque....

Attention Moderators,

Can we please, please set strictly enforced guidelines against name calling and long-running personal vendettas? Arguing and disputing is one thing, but stuff that gets too personal, left uncontrolled, could do a lot of damage to the overall character and desirability of this board.

This place is great - let's keep it that way.

I agree. It's something that is now going to have to be discussed.

Thanks to all of you that keep an adult like attitude here.

Terry u know TEE TEE....
The funny thing is Joe is stupid enough to believe the cam box w/my name on it was MY CAM...

I took your dyno chart and overlayed it with several 224 and 230 cam dyno charts to come to my conclusion. That combined with the common sense of your swap to more gear, more stall, and the fact that you already had a good 224 cam tells me the story. What did you "lose" a fake cam card and "let" Joe find it or something? lol

Since when is Joe stupid? You used to be one of his c0ckriders, and now look...so sad.

Reguardless of whatever you have in your car, those are some bad *** dyno numbers.

But I find it in bad taste that after all the bad stuff u said about him to MANY people he would trust u in anyway.U knocked his heads continually and said my JPR setup was ALL CONVERTER,REMEMBER?
Or did u forget that too Terry?

I never said anything "bad" about Joe. I simply insisted that the heads you had were more than "stage 1" heads. Looking back it looks like you had more cam than you let on to the entire time. I also said your car was all launch, and it was. The parts you had on the car worked well with it, remember I was the first to reply to your for sale post when you put them up for $500.

No Terry I put the TR cam in the Comp box as a joke last week and wrote my name on it to fool Joe
I wanted to see if he would fall for it and Joe was dumb enough to email u the wrong info ad email me saying nce cam!!Oh man did I have a laugh.I knew Joe would fall for that.

Hah well the joke is on you then, he never emailed me anything. Like I've said time will tell all, hopefully you'll at least run 120mph now with that sled. BTW what happened to the Thunder Racing kick? Not in to them anymore either? I don't know HOW anyone could sponsor someone like you.

[quote]
Terry your not so bad SOOOO I'll show u how u look one more time when racing me....

Hah you wish. Sure I'm only running 11.6 on motor right now, but I've got a 150 shot of juice on the car I use on the street. I'd gladly open the bottle and show your big dollar trailer queen my tail lights.
