Re: I just ordered LG G5 cam!
Wow, I miss one day and lots happen. I sure as hell am excited about the possibilities. I need no emmissions anymore so that's not an issue. I was originally planning on a smaller stealthier cam, but I just assume blow them away.
The cam was $495 plus shipping total was $513. Well worth it IMO. I said it before, but I'll sat it again, I had a great experience w/LG.
Joel as far as u hidinng the specs that was a PERSONAL choice u made, I don't care which one u WERE using, but it still was YOUR choice. In my case I don't know the specs, therefore I CAN'T reveal them. They did say that when I need my tuning done I can have Ed W. call them and get the specs for tuning purposes. With that being said I anxiously await the results. Hopefully this will be me soon.

Re: I just ordered LG G5 cam!
When I asked him about my ed wright tuning the guy I talked to didnt say anything about giving him the specs to tune my computer. He just told me he would have his guy do the tuning. If they could give Ed the specs im 99% sure im going to order one. That would save me another $500 in computer work.

did you let whoever you talked to know that you already have a programmed PCM and you'd rather spend 150 than 500? who did you talk to?

Terry's at it again. Its a shame he has to accuse me of lying only because my OLD JPR S1 setup kicked his MMS S2X's ***
Bears I wasnt trying to flame u in anyway. Why the arrogance buddy?I agree with Lou about keeping nfo on the QT.
FWIW my cam specs can be gotten from
JULIO if u need them, just to give u that warm fuzzy feeling. He already gave the duration # 224-224.I really dont know the lift figures or LSA/LCA.
I had one question,Have they dynoed RATS car threw a Y-Pipe and intermediate pipe to a cutout yet?Or have they gotten locked verter #?
Bears,I saw your heads a long time ago. They look sweet.I'm sure you'll be very happy with your setup.

I talked to chris. Im sure he forgot to tell me. He did tell me that I could try to use the program I have right now for my cam and it might work. Then in the future I could come and get their programing to get the extra HP.

Re: I just ordered LG G5 cam!
You can call the shop about the details, its a
2001 Z28, TTS headers, 229v2 cam, MMS tuning,
3.73s, 17" rims, pulley, ported TB, stock
clutch/driveshaft. It's not for the faint of
heart but its a bad-*** cam. There are several
head/cam packages with that cam putting out 435-
450rwhp here.

Re: I just ordered LG G5 cam!
That LG cam did 390rwhp in an A4 with stock heads, so I'd argue that is very close to what the MMS cam is doing. I do know Morgan did a lot of work to "tame" down their 229 cam (it used to be a real animal at idle). I'd love to hear a side by side comparo of the LG and the new MMS 229v2 cam..
I might be upgrading to the 229v2 cam and a TP4400rpm stall soon. I figure I'll pick up 15rwhp from 5000-6800rpm with the cam and that stall will keep me in the power band longer.
