They are truly a great shop. I have had nothing but excellent service with them. They get all my money.

Peace,
Craig.

No doubt about it, MTI is the best when it comes to LS1's! All of the guys there are top notch. I have bought several parts from them in the past and plan on buying many, many more parts down the road. Heads, cam, tuning, etc.

Yeah MTI rules!!! I know they have the dyno, flowbench, & machine shop but Jayson and I at one point were talking about attaching a "gentlemen's club" to the shop - just wondering if it's under construction.

Damn I guess I am one of the few that thinks they suck. I got my T1 cam from them and I will NEVER buy anything from them again. The people I talked to over the phone were rude and inconsiderate. Customer Service it Number one to me. No doubt their products are great but I will leave it at that.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them SuperSport. But hell, you can't make everyone happy 100% of the time. By the way, we take the rude phone answering guys out back and beat the hell out of them and make them wear the gimp mask for a week when they get a complaint. Hope that puts a smile on your face

Dang, MTI customer service? LOL, man they RULE.
They stayed late satuday to tune my car. They close at 4 pm and I got there at like 3.50pm.

Jayson had been dynoing like 20 plus cars all day long. One after another and he was beat.
Jaysons response when I walked up?

"Hey man, how ya doing? Great run yesterday, that 60' was unbeleivable. So ya ready to tune that car?"

We didnt get out of there until 6pm.

Man, those guys are great.

He could have just threw a "semi-tune" at me and sent me on my way. But he did the whole enchilada. Thank you Jayson for your time and effort.

To be pissed at a place of business because a phone conversation didnt go as well as you wanted it to? Man, I would never buy from summit OR Jeggs again if i lived by that rule. Even phone help have bad days.... just like me.

But for the things that matter. Like how my car does at the track? MTI RULES!

P.S., if you have a bad phone experiance with a MTI operator... email or call up Jayson himself and tell him about it. I am sure he would like to know about it.

I can confirm what Raughammer wrote above - I was also there late Saturday, and was getting helped by them also past closing time.

MTI's customer service is usually very good, and I can promise you that Jayson wants to make sure that your car is performing like you want it to - I have already found that to be the case with a few minor car issues I have had.

I do want to add to this thread that there are indeed other good shops out there - many have posted on this board about them, and have given very good reviews and comments about them. I have not had much experience with them so I cannot comment on them. But I can comment about MTI, and will tell you that they rock! The setup I am running on now is phenomenal - somehow they got me a civilized car that is putting down almost 500 at the rear wheels all motor, sounds awesome, and is getting me about 24-25 on the highway!

I never met anyone from MTI but the one experience I had with them wasn't all that good either. I asked if the B1 or T1 cam would have trouble passing emissions in Cali, the guy bluntly replied "I don't know......" and then just silence, I was like ok . Not saying that MTI sucks or anything, maybe you Texans just don't like us Cali guys!

I don't even have an LS1 but through the years I've lived here in Houston, I've always been impressed with the professionalism of MTI. They have set a new standard for this type of business in my mind and I congratulate them on a job well done. Now if only all the shops could be run this way!
