Does anyone make a deep oil pan for our motor?
Seeing as how I have the TH-400 in, and turning 4000 RPM's on the highway gets the oil cookin, I was wondering about a deep oil pan. I was looking for something with 2-3 quarts extra capacity, and hopefully with fins on the bottom to help cooling. Anyone know of one? I couldn't find any. Thanks.

Not a sponsor (perhaps they should be) but they
do a lot of LS1/LS6 stuff.

I spent much time looking for an aftermarket pan with no luck. You might want to look into a drysump. Try ARE Racing Engine Systems (not Agostino in Toronto) at http://www.aremfg.com

Are there any issues regarding using them? As long as they aren't TOO low, I'll definatly have to consider one. I think I;m also going to go with an external oil cooler.

Matt, as a short term solution you can use the bigger filter and run a full 6 qts of oil. I run a PF58 filter, and 6 full qts. No problems here and I run my car HARD. I have ran 6 1/2 before, but I usually just stay with an even 6.
