Dyno results stock, lid K+N MAF ends and cutout.
I know this isn't the usual extreme topics you guys are looking for(400-600rwhp) but it's kinda back to basics for the newer members.
Basically a customer had a 2000Z all stock with a 6 speed and pulled 310rwhp and 325rwtq stock. not too shabby. went to work and installed MAF ends, K+N, SLP lid and cutout for him and headed back down to the dyno. Just made a quick pull with the cutout capped and it did 319rwhp, 330rwtq. It was pinging a little and could have use more learning miles for the MAF ends than the 20 miles we gave it. Uncapped the cutout and HELLO! 336rwhp and 342rwtq. Good things happen to those who open up their exhausts!

What exhaust was the cutout put on???? I'm running the Dual-Dual right now and I don't think I'm going to gain a heck of a lot of power by doing the mod... Any comments?

It was placed right before the axle in the intermediate pipe. I wouldn't think you would gain much over a dual-dual setup, but evey little bit helps.

Cutouts are awsome, I put mine behind the rear axle for less noise. Good performance for $50. <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/formula.gif" border="0" alt="[Pontiac]" />

I gain 30 rwhp by opening my cutout. Damn Flowmaster is pretty restrictive apparently! Anybody want to get rid of an SLP dual/dual?
