Any how-to for degreeinga cam w/ the heads on... just to verify grind.
I'm installing a G5-X2 114 w/ a non adjustable timing set w/ an LS2 chain. LG told me that after degreeing the first 50 or so cams from Comp they found that the quality control was dead on and stopped degreeing them.
Just wondering how do degree a cam w/ the heads on... any how-to w/ pics?
Or should I just say F it and install dot to dot.. which I will have to do anyway. I guess my fear is that the cam could be ground wrong.
However I know it's a G5-X2 as that's engraved into the end of the cam... sorry, but I'm **** w/ this stuff.

My cam wasn't degreed when it was installed. But then again, I like to live dangerously.

Well, the way I see it is: The cam has G5-X2 engraved on it and you talked to LG on the phone....so if you put it in and its not the right cam or something is off...then it was just meant to be.
