As you all know from angie's post that this was my car they are talking about. After picking up my car from Thunder yesterday, all I can say is DAM! The car feels awsome just driving it around. The amount of tq the car has around 3rpms is incredable. The car does not stop pulling hard at all. What amases me is with nittos if I floor it in first the tires spin from first gear to third gear. This car is just awsome to drive period.
Goeff and the thunder crew did an excellent job on my car. Goeff has always done a great job not only on my car but others as well. This combination of the 224 Thunder cam and the GTP stage two heads is the best on the market in myopinion Just when I had stock heads with the cam the car put down 401 rwhp and 392 rwtq on a stock rear end with 342's, that was awsome itself. That goes to show you that the thunder cam is a great cam that works in the camaro/transam. It wasn't that my car was a fluke with the cam, Jsears put down 398 hp with just the cam and numerous people also put down high numbers with the thunder cam. The gtp heads just put the icing on the cake. After installing a moser 12 bolt with 410's, I dynoed the car and it made 383 rwhp and 381 rwtq which is preety respectible. After goeff installed the heads and dynoed the car we were all in shock at to what the car put down. We dynoed it 7 times to make sure it would back up the numbers in which it did every time. 443 rwhp and 421 rwtq was the final numbers Sae corrected. This was with no dyno tricks all hp.
I would like to thank goeff, angie, jason, paul and the rest of the thunder crew for doing an excellent job with my car. If anyone is looking for a cam and heads give thunder a call before bying something without doing research on it. Goeff and angie will be happy to help you in any way. I would strongly recommend it. Thanks again Thunder for a job well done.

Hey Chris, those are very nice numbers. Is that all you have done to the car...heads and cam? If not list what else is done, very curious! Thanks, again, nice numbers!

Those are some EXCELLENT #'s! I remember when 382 LS1 strokers were putting out this exact power, and now it can be had with a heads/cam setup...simply amazing! Congrats to the TR crew for one incredible setup! I'm more than anxious to see the track results.

I took my car down to them in October last year. Stock heads with the 224/112 LSA cam, it pulled 381/376. I wonder what kind of heads to choose...hmmm
Geoff, Angie, and all the guys at Thunder did an excellent job. They even cooked up steaks on Friday, unfoturnately I had to jet immediately after the dyno. Next time!
BTW...12 bolt and ET Streets are on now.

Nasty c5,
As far for just the parts I think the Thunder cam is 800 dollars with everything you will need. You can go to there web site to make sure. As far as the heads go they are 2,499 plus you will need gaskets, etc.

Chris,
Those are great numbers, glad to see that cause I ordered the same set up today...plus a LS-6 intake and a I'm thinking about the BBK ported TB to go along with them. Did you do the 112 or the 114? I am having Sean at Fastech here in Dallas do the installs and the PCM goes to Ed Wright for tuning, can't wait... now 'm really pumped. Congrats,
Mark
