LT headers no cats qtp cutouts, ls6 intake manifold, underdrive pulley, ported TB, lid, 12bolt moser 4.10

my next question would be if I could make a pretty streetable headcam package with spray to yeild over 500hp...I know you cant put too much compression cause then you cant spray.

Just get yourself a mild cam/nice AFR small bore heads and spray a 100 or 150 shot on top of all of that. You will have no problem reaching your 500hp goal.

N2O loves compression, the more the better. You could make a nice 430>450 rwhp setup, the shoot another 100 and you have 550

I'm at ~11.88:1 SCR and 8.68 DCR, that motor begs for juice. (Nice way to clean up the pistons too )

January 2007 issue of GM High Tech Performance features "129hp! Budget LS1 HEads/Cam" on page 28.

"Texas Speed's Magic Stick 4 Cam and PRC heads pump an LS1 up by 129hp!"

With the cam only, they hit 482.3hp and 439.1# torque @ 5100rpm.
Serious power from just a cam and a tune.

As far as I've seen, that the largest gain from a cam only application.

That was with an underdrive pulley only attached .
Spinning a/c , powersteering , mechanical waterpump , alternator those numbers will drop . Seems through a stocklongblock LS1 MS4 cam only gets around 415rwhp .
Top notch cylinder heads , induction , and lots of compression .. 500rwhp is possible with an LS1. Its already been done and recently . Looks like the owner drives it on the street . Search: Trick Flow
