Use the search feature before posting. This is a common topic every single day.
I have FLP's because they are a complete kit, most people who have them love them. I think mine are great, no problems at all. You pay for what you get (easy install, cats, off road pipes, y pipe, interchangeability of cats/off road pipes, extremely nice build quality, good clearance, good coating and awesome customer service) If I had to choose to order headers again, id get on the phone, call Mitch at FLP and place an order. Hes a stand up guy and stands behind his product 110%.
You can call FLP @ 630-820-9294 (phone) 630-820-9259 (fax)

Grotyohanns! Why?
1 - Because I have a set waiting to install.
2 - After paying $1300 for them, would I say anything else?

Re: Which are the best headers??
it depends on your application.
if you intend on going 'all out' with your car, like a stroker motor, or heads/cam, or anything that will see you revving past 6500 rpm, then the FLPs or Grotts are better. They really shine above 5000 rpm.
if you intend on staying with a stock motor, than SLPs are for you. They make more power from 2000 - 5500 rpm, compared to others.
also SLP's aren't any more expensive than FLPs. Actually, you can get them on GPs. Not a chance in hell in getting the FLPs on GP.

Re: Which are the best headers??
For the most part the best header is the one installed on your own car! I have SLP LT, very expensive and not to fun to install. But with that said they sound great and gave a very high SOTP feel. It seems as if there are very few people running these headers but I think it is the issue with the cost and the PITA to install. It has been a long time that I seen any posts from a dyno with these hearders. With that said I love them.
