Favor to ask, can someone measure (LS6 intake)
Can someone measure the inlet of an LS6 intake? If you have digital calipers I would like it exact.
If you have an LS1 intake lying around could you measure that too.

Its a little bigger than the width of my left palm, but not as long as right hand. <img src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" border="0" alt="[jester]" />

97-00 intake, 2.943" in diameter. (measured with digital calipers)
Pretty sure the 01+ intakes are the same size.

What's that in millimeters?
Anyone else measure their LS6 intake, I'd like to see if they are all exactly the same.
I will take my extra TB, and bore it to the same size as my intake.

Back in 1999 I think, I had a local guy bore a stock TB for me on a CNC machine. I forget the size, it's somewhere between 78 and 80 millimeters. Unfortunately it was too big for my LS1 intake, I could see the gasket (orange) after the TB was bolted up.
But Chris/Bluhawk is saying in this other thread that his inlet was bigger...
