MMS 218 Cam is a Winner!!!
Needless to say as soon as I can keep this thing from climbing all over the 2-3 rev limiter, currently set at 6300 shift 6600 limit. I will be posting up some new numbers.
Not too bad for stock heads and an A4.

The MMS 218 Cam is 218/218 .561/.561 and seems to very A4 friendly.
What is the Lobe sepration on that cam. I would consider it. How much was the cam and it installed all together?

It's a 114 LSA and I think I paid $425 from MMS. I paid another installer in Northern CA and he charges $500 for cam, springs and pushrod installs.
This thing was still making power at 6500RPM's which I didn't expect for such a small cam.
Ohh also, how is the low - midrange RPM power with that cam ? Was it a noticeable "put you back in your seat" difference ?
thanks,
Mitch R.

The one problem I have now is I hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift everytime. I had Speartech program 6300 Shift and 6600 Rev Limit but it doesn't quite make it through the mushy shift, I guess I need to raise the limiter a little bit more.

I was very surprised also. The car idles really well even if it isn't as lopey as my 222/222 .534 114
But even at 311rwhp he was running 12.13@ almost 112mph.
