Just looking at the graph in general shows that it is of a horizontal shape. If it was stretched more vertical than horizontal, the curve would be very steep.

Not to say that Joe's curve isn't broad and flat, but the dimensions of the graph and the spacing of the units on the Y axis further exaggerate the flat shape. You could make it look however you wanted by changing the dimensions.

Anyway, Joe's car is flying and (shameless plug) Speed Inc is awesome.

Dr. PNut (JimTA) explains it well.

Oh yeah, and Billy, you'll never run 12's in a TPI <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> At least, the great BOSINGTON says so.

Don't worry, if it's nice, you'll get a ride this weekend. It pulls much harder then it used to!

Something really puzzles me on this dyno graph
If the converter was unlocked how come it only made 390RWTQ?My car made over 520RWTQ w/an unlocked TP4400?

Why did u guys start the dyno # at that high of an RPM?

you kinda answered your own question, JS, didn't you?

The if they would've flash stalled it at 4000rpms, they would've recorded higher torque, right?

I think Speed Inc dynos by whacking it where the A4 won't downshift (60mph I think), so there is no torque spike.
