A dealer cannot void your warranty, especially on your mods without proof. Plain and simple. No if's, and's or but's. This is what SEMA is for. They are to protect the consumer and aftermarket manufacturers from red tape such as this. This dealer is trying to pull a fast one on you. Go to SEMA's website and read it thoroughly and then plop it on his desk. If there is no avail just go to a different dealer.

You are correct. But I'm kinda antsy about letting a dealership who doesn't want me there,(more-headachs) Campared to one who WANTS my business,(sure! We'll take care of that for you.) Work on my car. IMOP.

Yes, I would be leary about letting a shop like this work on my car as well especially if the tables were turned and they had to fix his oil consumption issue in his case. Probably is best to go to another dealer, unfortunate it is that we have to go out of our way to get things done that should be no questions asked <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">
