Grott headers - which Y pipe???
I have heard a lot of people say the grott y-pipe sucks, what is different about it than the others?

The fit is really bad. Mnay people have had to dent the y-pipe in order for it to clear the floorboard and/or crossmember. The y-collector is nothing more than 2-pipe running into each other. A 5 year old could do a better job. LOL Grotyohann + custom y-pipe = the way to go.
I've got a set of Grots and his y-pipe sitting here for installation next week. I don't know about fitment issues, yet, but the welds on the pipe look like they were done by some kid in a high school shop class. I had my muffler guy go over them as best as he could.

HI. Just a newbie, I know, but I've been around other boards for years. I've had my Grot Headers and y-pipe for two years. That's one of the older sets around, I know. The y-pipe I received had first class fit and finish. No problems to date, and increased power measurably, to 12.2x/114.
I don't know if or why fit is a problem now, but my equipment is as good or better than ANY I've since seen.

Who sells Grot Headers? I heard it's a pain getting them direct. TIA

Check all the vendors, but DON'T ORDER THEM DIRECT. Been there and done that.
