You think? You read my mind though... I saw a K&N fipk yesterday, and thought...that looks like a Titan Intake with just a different shaped filter element.

Ahh, I remember the debates way back on on the Titan vs. lid. The Titan unit seemed to disappear after '99 or so.
FWIW, I have a K&N FIPK on order, and I'm going to track-test it against my lid, K&N filter, and FRA. I'm going to try to run FRA with the FIPK as well. If the filter is too tall to still use my stock radiator support, I'll just do some of my high-quality engineering on the supplied support. Is there anyway that you could borrow WeatherGuy's FIPK to track-test it? I know he had mentioned getting one.

Do you have a pic or description? Next week the air conditioner condenser coil comes out of my car and I'm thinking there will be room for a huge K&N to hang down in front of the radiator and connect to the MAF with a 90 degree tube. Don't know if it'll add any horsepower, but it should scream like a banshee.
