It's not completed just yet, but rumor has it that it won't be much longer.

Its not built yet. Parts are still ariving. Here is the scoop:

MTI 432ci resleeved aluminum block
MTI Stage 3 ported/polished LS6 heads
MTI "S1" hydraulic camshaft (244/244 .610/.610 112)
Childs & Albert 4.00" forged stroker crank
Wiseco custom 4.15" bore forged pistons
Custom billet rods
Jessel Street/Strip rocker arms
MTI modified oil pump
Stock LS6 intake
Bigger fuel injectors
LS1-EDIT tuning

Scheduled to begin machining/porting week of March 16th. Waiting on crank to arrive also.

Should be fun for this year, probably go with solid roller cam setup next year

Tony,
I am VERY happy to see you post your cam specs.
I think that is very straight up of you.
Keeping cam specs secret in a public forum is utter bullshit in my opinion. This forum is for people to learn what is working and what isnt. Compare combos and results.
Thanks again,
Chris

Childs & Albert crank is about $300 more expensive than Lunati - but better quality

Had more to do with delivery time issues from Lunati.

Yes, this is the largest sleeved motor MTI has built, but they now have some custom made sleeves which are thicker. I'm not the first guinnea-pig however, another customer is having an all-bore 392ci (4.150" bore, stock 3.62" stroke) built the week before my motor. Should be interesting.

Chris, the cam specs are no secret. This is the exact same cam that Sanders ("S1") and PaiN are running in their 422ci motors.

I just told Jayson and Jeff at MTI to "build a motor like you would like to build it" and gave them no real input on anything. They also know this car is not my daily-driver anymore, so they could have more fun with it. It will still be a pump gas motor though, I can't afford running race gas all the time

WOW!!!Sounds like a great setup Tony.Good luck with the build up.Chris I totally agree with u about secret cam specs.

My 224-580 113 Cam is docile to the poiint it doesnt really lope all the much.Comparing it to my TR Cam with the same duration is crazy. That really loped on a 112.

Cool! Another S1 cam car!

Yep, those specs are no secret. I released them not long after it was installed in my car last summer.

Now I'm dreaming of the S2!

It's too bad your using someone else's cam. Otherwise we could have your new cam:
T2 Judgement Day

This sucks but I have to agree with Terry:
Why is JS pimping the Cartek cam and talking about the TR cam in this post about Tony's big cube motor?

Ragtop, I already had the "T2" cam in my 382ci motor. (232/232 .574/.574 112)

I was thinking "T3" but it might be too scary...

I believe that MTI built a 449 CID motor some time before. Do you know what bore & stroke ratios they used ?

The MTI 449ci motor had a 4.25" custom crank and the standard 4.10" bore. It made about the same power as a 422ci setup, probably due to the 3 year old LS1 heads the owner just had freshened up for the new motor. With LS6 heads and a better intake, it should make much better power or at least more torque.

Tony, that looks like it is going to be a great setup. You ain't gonna have a sleeper, though I also figured that you were going to go the route of a big-cubed motor even before you said anything about it. Too many relative newbies like me jumping to the 422s . . .
