Try PACE or Phoenix Pontiac.

There is no difference in the castings between 2001/2002.

You might check with one of our sponsors, Jim Pace GM Parts Warehouse. They've been known to offer some excellent prices. <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">

Thanx Jayson, I thaught that they were the same, but I noticed that at Pace they had 2 different part #'s, and also different prices. I have had good luck with the 2001 LS6 heads, but havn't seen a set of 2002's.

man...for the life of me, I cannot remember where, but LS6 heads were available recently for 1000$ for the pair.

I bought mine on Ebay for cheap, I think I was way too lucky.

Anyone remember the 1000$ place?

Thanks,
Chris

The bare castings should have the same part numbers. If you look at complete heads(valves, springs, etc), there will be a part number difference. The 2002 LS6 got hollow valves filled with sodium something mix and different springs for the larger lift numbers on the cam.

So much for the Corvettes of Houston GP for $1000

I've been on the "list" for 8 weeks. Never heard from them, never got my heads.

COH should have been flamed for that bit of ****-poor "customer care".

Many people are using the 6L truck heads, they are only $400 and they have the same ports as the LS6. They do have less compression, good for FI applications but NA people probably need to mill.
