Default Stock baseline dyno results inside

I did my first dyno on the SS today. The car is completely stock other than the Flowmaster catback. All other mods listed in sig are either bieng shipped, on backorder or waiting in the garage to go on. I wanted to get a baseline so I could show gains for each mod. I will be going back saturday "IF" my lid gets here by friday. That way I can dyno the ASP and the lid together. I want to see if anything looks out of the ordinary on this graph. I think I had some KR towards the end of the pull, you can see the dip in the graph. Any input would be appreciated!

Those are good numbers for a '99. Don't worry about that dip, its pretty common. I'd be interested to see what you would do with a cutout. I've heard mixed results with the Flowmaster catback.

I will definatly be posting everything that happens with the build up so if anything happens out of the ordinary, it can be avoided by others. Not only that but its fun to show off what the new toys do!

I just cant get over how it carried over 300rwtq from 2500 to a bit over 5K. Thats pretty much max tq from right out of the hole to just about a shift point.

You have a really smooth curve compared to some I've seen. You would have substantial power loss with KR. I would look at a number of pulls from your car and a number of pulls from other cars on that dyno to see if it is a characteristic of your car or the dyno. But really it looks good to me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

what causes the little spike at the end of the pull? Is that from the rev limiter coming on?

Also, this was the first place that I have ever been where they close the hood to do a pull. Normally its open isnt it?
