Topic says all. I am looking to get a range of prices to offset grind the LS1 crank. How much and how far did you go in the offset??

Talk to Nick @ ARE. He would be the man to talk to. He has done this on quite a few customer's cars.

oh also, John is that crank a lunati 4.00" crank that has then been offset ground ?

My stock crank is offset ground to 3.70 by ARE. I dont remember the exact price so ask Nick. But it wasnt all that much...Like $250 or so...but dont hold me to that.

 

I have a 4.075 stroke, it's a used Lunati crank offset gorund .075 by ARE.

Ask both of them for prices, maybe Izzo can have his guy offset grind stuff.

In Chicago, I would only talk to Speed Inc., because their guy Rich G knows how to set up this stuff.

 

Yes local C5 guy. Have a few things on order from Tom already. I will probably them do the bore/hone etc to the block, so I may jsut give them the crank also. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
