The 111 seperation will move peak power down a bit, right? The 227/227 570/570 would be something I would think you would rev to atleast 6600 with stock heads, but then you would have the 111 moving the peak power lower.

What do you think this sort of cam would run in comparison to all the 224 cams out there, and how would you want to gear it?

Thats a good question.. Torque and everything should move down as well.. Is this a solution for us guys who are not running 4.10's in a M6?

I just get excited over the high lift of the XE-R
I agree for a primarily street driven setup the TR cams are great. If you are going with 111LSA why not try something a little bigger? Like a TR230/230 you are getting programming so the idle should not be a problem, maybe even try a 110LSA
Cheers,
Chris

That itself is one of my main motives for going with a 111 lsa. I will probably only run a 3:73 gear for now(call me a puss). I like cruising at 90 mph only running 2 grand, and I also like to be able to run my car up to ~130-140 in 4th gear whenever the hell I want . I think the 111 lsa/3:73 combo will work well together, considering that cam SHOULD peak out around 6300, and make good power in the 2500-5000 range.

Chris, whatcha tryin to do man, turn my **** into a stock eliminator? lol . I'll pass on the 110 lsa...I definately want some lope, but I also tend to have many females in the car and I don't wanna shake their damn teeth out(shakin the silicon may be cool though)

Hey Jason, Could you address my questions?

What is the lower lobe seperation going to do when paired with the bigger cam as far as rpm to power ratios? Would gearing need to be lower to keep the car around 6300, or would one still want to rev soemthing like this really high (6600+)?
I ask these questions from a stock headed application too...
