cam swap starting issue
well mine did the same thing when i put my cam in. i had to send my computer off and get a tune on it and turn all that security crap off. even though mine is a huge cam that still might be your problem
with a scanner you can set the vats code to "none" and that should turn it off so you can determine if that's the problem. I can't remember which code it is off the top of my head, but I know I saw it searching this problem.
I'm pretty sure a scanner won't pick up vats codes. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure, especially a scanner from autozone or something of the likes. You'll more than likely need to scan it with a Tech-II or something on that level.
Your problem is the VATS system! There is a pass key or tamper modual problem and you have been locked out of the pcm, Remove the pcm and send it to Pacific Fabrication in Morgan Hill ca. The guys there can reflash it to elimnate this issue. Check out PacifcFab.net
are you sure its the PCM....what about the BCM i thought that had something to do wtih it as well. clear me up on this i never really looked into this whole VATS thing to much. how much do they charge usually?
