yeah everytime it fires instant then dies instantly right aftre..i will try to get a vid in a few minutes.

You should hear the fuel pump cycle for 2 sec. at KOEO.

would having the battery out for 2 months cause the VATS to do this. i will try to get a vid tonight or tomorrow.

resetting the vats is an easy procedure, from what i can recall, just try it and see what it does. access to a scanner that u could hook up to check everything else?

would anything about the VATS show up on a cheap auto zone scanner you think? that way i know for sure whats goin on.

well mine did the same thing when i put my cam in. i had to send my computer off and get a tune on it and turn all that security crap off. even though mine is a huge cam that still might be your problem

with a scanner you can set the vats code to "none" and that should turn it off so you can determine if that's the problem. I can't remember which code it is off the top of my head, but I know I saw it searching this problem.

i just hooked up a scanner and it didnt show any codes...could the VATS still be the problem?

I'm pretty sure a scanner won't pick up vats codes. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure, especially a scanner from autozone or something of the likes. You'll more than likely need to scan it with a Tech-II or something on that level.

Your problem is the VATS system! There is a pass key or tamper modual problem and you have been locked out of the pcm, Remove the pcm and send it to Pacific Fabrication in Morgan Hill ca. The guys there can reflash it to elimnate this issue. Check out PacifcFab.net

Sorry I said scanner, I meant EFI Live or HP Tuners etc. And yeah, the BCM is part of it. Search BCM and see what pops up.
