Terry I hate to burst your bubble but IF U look at the race weight I put up you'll see its 150lbs lighter becasue I had a lighter guy in the car.

3598lbs ME
3448lbs CartekDave

Bottom line is my car stilled weighed in at a HEAVIER weight than yours.Of course u go from 3200 to 3500 quicker than u change your shorts so who knows what your car REALLY wieghs?

Cartek Dave went a 11.14/1.46/122.68 on ET STREETS and 4.10's in MY CAR TERRYBLE.So no BS here....

I believe John R. went 10.86@123 with his untouched short block and MTI S2 H/C.I also believe Johns car was lighter?Somewhere around 3150 John?I feel I have a chance to run that number in the right conditions.

Fact is Terryble this car trapped 122 the first time out in 1800 feet of air and Etown is not exactly the best hooking track in NJ.I'm sure Chris will attest to that since I believe he's raced there with his car.

Julio is making plans to have a Cartek track rental at atco within a week so we can do more testing and tweaking . Maybe Ill slap some e t streets on or have a better driver <mark,brent,mike,bob....> drive it for me.

The fact is that with 451 real rwhp he should run 125+mph in a M6 C5 hardtop with 4.10s and drag radials. It doesn't add up to me. I guess he meant 451 Cartech HP?

Be careful with the DA excuse. I don't think anyone in Southern California has ever raced in better than 1000' DA conditions.

RE my cars weight, its on a long term diet. My 11.16 run was at ~3400#. My 6.95 1/8th was at ~3340#. I hope to be under 3300# for my attempt this Friday. I just did light weight carpet and I'm going to have a flange put on so I can take my muffler off at the track. I'm also going to get the gas level down low. I always run with the fuel gauge between 1/4 and 1/2. Maybe if I wait till the "check gauges" light comes on I can shave another 20#. If you don't believe me on the weight I can take pictures of whatever you'd like on the car. I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of your car. I bet there is a lot of stuff missing that you've never told us about. Just like you running that 218/224 cam and claiming it was a 216/220 cam, or like your current "224" cam making a 7000rpm power peak and needing 4.56s and a 4600rpm stall to run well… yeah right…

The fact is YOU never ran 11.14. If you didn't do any of the work AND didn't drive the car I don't think you have any right to claim the ET.

Terry the hp my car made.... I'll be more then happy to take it to another dyno to duplicate those numbers.

My car wont need no NOS to get in the 10's . I dont have to strip my car down like you do. I drive my car with full tank of gas and nothing taken off to reduce the weight.

This is a new setup and I am the only customer to have it.

You're car already comes light weight from the factory. I used to own a 2000 Hardtop (FRC), I know what they weight. If Cartek doesn't need to strip their cars to get a decent ET why is Joel's car stripped to hell and back? Even with a light weight driver, 445 rwhp, a negative da, and 1.4 60' times it doesn't run 10s.

Was there any port-matching of the Z06 intake?

Terry, why do u make accusations about things u no NOTHING about.U continually bring up NONSENSE and try to make points on things that have nothing to do with the topic.

FACT #1
I run a 224-224 570-570 112 CAM
I dont wanna hear your BS anymore about it.
I peaked at 6600.Go Look at the damn dyno sheet if u dont believe me.

FACT #2
My car is quicker and faster than yours at a heavier weight--->PERIOD.

FACT #3
The stuff taken outta my car is EXACTLY like yours.Theres NO difference.Other than mine is heavier than yours.

FACT#4
U run a 229 Cam I wonder where that PEAKS? You still havent put up a dyno sheet.FWIW I frequent the Corevette board and have seen your posts about shifting your 229 cam at 7200.Talk about a HIGH PEAKING SETUP.

FACT#5
Terry do u understand tire hieght/gearing and the realtionship to RPM.Lets say we take a car with 28in tires and a 4.56 and then the same car with 26in tires and a 4.10.Where will they both cross RPM wise? Can u answer that Terry? How about 100 rpm of each other?

Bottom line is all shops have fast cars out there.Who cares what something should run or can run and is suppose to run.Its about people and having fun and its every persons GOD given right to choose what they do with
their money.

U cant see that becasue your twisted with no people skills.I feel sorry for u Terry.Your a sick person with low self esteem who has nothing better to do than insult and hurt people to make yourself feel superior..Why dont u try and be nice for a change and wish people a congrats or a keep trying buddy? It might go over well with some of us that really feel empathy for u.

First of you're saying I have low self esteem? I'm not the one always posting all my personal problems on the car boards Joel! I think you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself, yo yo.

The only dyno you ever posted of your setup showed a 7000rpm peak.

All my personal problems? What are u talking about?I posted one thing that meant alot to me.

THE LOSS OF MY MOM.
Are u an insensitive *******.
Do u know how many people responded to that post MORON.Do u know how many private EMAILS I got from people that I didnt know that were praying for me and sending good vibes my way. They were shooting prayers up for my MOTHERS SOUL.And I want to thank each and every LS1TECH Member who did that for me .

What does self esteem have to do with me putting up a post that I'm sad about losing my MOM?

Now knocking EVERYONE and EVERYTHING constitutes a person as someone who has LOW self esteem. That would be u Terry.

FWIW
I type fast and sometimes I hit the keys quickly.Sue me.

Fact is Terry u are faster than me but my car did run a bettter ET and MPH with a lighter driver which still happens to be heavier than your car.SO u cried FOUL and said, thats not fair u werent driving.

Okay then what about the fact that your car weighed 3330 at the time of your runs and my car wieghed 3598 at the time of my run.Does that count for something or do u only setup the situations for U TO WIN THE ARGURMENT.

I'll play Devil advocate.
Will go with your scenario,My car with me and your car with u at the same weight for each car.Tell me Terry,Who wins?I dont think u wanna answer that one now do u?

Lastly do u really think 300 rpms at the big end is worth 2 or 3 tenths.if so I have some swamp land to sell u.Its worth NADDA .

I might switch back to 4.10/26in before the yrs up.I still like the idea of a bigger contact patch and more rollout but I could be wrong.

Terry face it your a mean person and u knock people becasue u have LOW SELF ESTEEM.
