Default New T1 cam installed today

Was going to go with the Hammer cam but MTI was out so I went I went with the T1. Turned out pretty good though. I only had a lid and the Corsa exhaust, no heads, or headers yet. Baseline dyno was 318.6 hp and 344.1 torque. This is an A4. After T1 cam and tuning with LS1Edit it dynoed a good 349-350 hp with a peak of 354.5. Peak torque is the same at 344 but at 6000 rpm it is 305 compared to 272 with the stock cam. Lots more area under the curve. Also at 6000 rpm it is more than 37 hp over the stock cam. All above numbers are corrected. As soon as I can dig my scanner out from under all this junk I can get the dyno sheet scanned in.
Note to self: Get a converter and some headers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Congrats on the cam! You'll drop a LOT of ET with the right converter. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thanks Vince. I ended up with more HP than I figured I would with no headers.

Trevor,I think a Yank ST3500 converter would be appropriate. That of course, and some really sticky tires. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Hey Josh, when you gonna put something together again?

You did end up with some awesome #'s with no headers.. Once you finish your combo its going to be well over 400rwhp..

Les I am busy with work right now. Maybe we can do something the end of June. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> So how is that cam going to do with the new emissions testing?
