I know you can get them from Scoggin-Dickey, http://www.sdpc2000.com also, email Chris Slack @TeamChevrolet chriss@teamchev.com and tell him Levi Procter sent you. He gives the best GM prices.
PS, I thought LS6 heads were a waste unless you went to bigger cubes? You got something up your sleeve?

It turns out they have much better high valve lift flow than the 5.3/5.7 heads (thinking about a .663 lift cam), and will still allow me to get up to 13:1 CR with minimal welding. I'd have to weld a whole lot to the 6L truck heads to get to that point. As long as I'm doing a set why not plan ahead. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Best price on LS6 cores? Man that is one big cam...reminds me of my old muscle car days when guys were putting .750 cams into small block chevy's. Man was that some serious muscle sound.
Re: Best price on LS6 cores? Look in the current issue of Car Craft, there is a good article on the LS1, with info & part # of GM race blocks CR5, and there is also a CNC ported LS6 head, that is available for $900 a piece. The part # is listed in the article. That seems to be a great deal, to me.
