Its not the fact that the pressure sucks, they just fial for no reason. Espically since we have 98's the risk is better

Believe it or not, mine was perfect for 45,000 miles, then on the morning of 9-11-01, I went out to goto work and I had NO pressure. I'm glad I caught it within 10 sec, shut the car off, tried again, 5 sec, no pressure, turned it off, called my dealer. 940.00 later, new oil pump, new water pump, NO engine damage, I'm now at 62,000 miles and it's right around 40psi at idle, a little lower when it's hot, but never less than 30psi.

I'm going to be doing a TR 220 cam soon and I think I'll stick a new Katech pump in just for piece of mind...
