I just got headers, and thought i would be done modding for a while, or at least till i got enough money. Now i have enough for a MAFT. )for the record, i like to plan ahead).
So i want to ATAP my car, and was wondering that with the money i have saved now, as a last bolt on mod for a little bit, if i should get a MAFT. As for planning ahead, i have always looked at this mod as a "trick", which some have said, for your computer, so-to-speak. So, in the future, with a cam, and lets just say hypothetically speaking, an entire engine build (not just H/C, because that i could use it on), would i still need the MAFT with custom programming? ........making this a waste?

I'm going to be keeping my MAFT once my heads and cam are installed. The main reason is my computer will be reprogrammed by MMS and setup to run well at 5800'. For some of my trips to low altitude I'll have to add a bit of fuel in with the MAFT to avoid running lean.

But, how does it go? higher altitude is richer because of less dence air (less air molecules) and richer at low And i know colder is better for performance but i have just though because of less detonation hence stoich A/F, where as hot being lean causing ping. So 100* at 5000 feet would be the worst. Am i correct or, uh, how does it go?

Remember factory system can and does measure altitude density, and adjusts fuel and timing accordingly for emissions and best performance(Factory Parameters)
