but i would use the sunco 94 if we had them around here <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
moonshine works wonders mixed with 93.. i think thats a higher rating than CAM 2(just joking)

It's ludicrous to think you get Shell gas when you go to Shell.
I have 3-4 folks who work in the field.
Some folks own 4-5 gas stations, not even all the same brand, but the gas might come from just say the Chevron refinery.
They also buy and sell gas to each other.

Re: What Brand Of Pump Gas Do You Prefer? I use Amoco 93 mosy of the time, Sunoco 94 the others. I don't think we have Texaco in Michigan, well at least around here. Anyone know what kind of gas Speedway uses, they seem cheapest around here and have better gas than Clark.

Clean filters, and lots of business (fresher fuel) usually mean that you’re getting the best gas. I only go to busy stations. Also, I won’t buy gas from a station that has only one pump for all three grades. You never know what might be left in the hose.
Sunoco 94 is the only regular pump gas you can buy that is not interchangeable.

I have three stations that I go to, one up in GB, one about 5 miles from where I live and one about 20 miles from where I live, all three are Amoco. I refuse to put any of that reformulated crap that you will find in the 5 or so counties surrounding Milwaukee in my tank <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> I feel sorry for you people that don't have a choice <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
I've been known to drive 30+ miles to fill up, just to get the good stuff numerous times <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: What Brand Of Pump Gas Do You Prefer? Amoco, BP, Shell, Texaco. Just about any "name" gas where the stations stay busy. I do like the ones with the pay at the pump thingie though. 90% of the time I gas up at a "convenience" store.
