Expected power from a 427 LS1?
Any examples of such a motor here? Would the power be similar to the 422? Lets here some examples, or guesses.

With a semi-mild "street" cam, something like the MTI R1 (232/237) cam, a 422/427 should make 480 rwhp with LS1 heads, and very close to 500 rwhp with LS6 heads

Don't you have a bigger cam (244/244), LS6 heads, and 500rwhp? How could someone be close to 500 with the R1?
Just thinking for now. Anyone have a 427, & how is it doing?
500 rwhp thru the dual-dual muffler
525 rwhp thru cutouts and a small 2.5" Y-pipe
-pushing a 12-bolt with 4.10s
-pushing a heavy steel Denny's driveshaft
-pushing heavy WS6 wheels/tires
My dyno numbers are somewhat misleading

Same cam that Colonel ("Sanders1") and PaiN are running in their 422ci setups. Also the same cam that is in No Mercy's 9-second vette.
Colonels and PaiN's motors are making around 520-530 rwhp with open headers. No Mercy's made 509 rwhp thru the corvette exhaust.
