No dyno tricks except for open cutout. I put the cutout back on for a test and only lost 3 to 5 hp, but it was through the entire range,
My car has a 12-bolt with 4.11's, a big Denny's driveshaft, and heavy 17" wheels.
421rwhp/396rwtq corrected
448rwhp/413rwtq uncorrected (a nice cool spring day)

Cartek S2X Heads,Cartek 224-580,PTB,Dynatechs,Pulley,LS1 edit'd threw a 3in single dynomax race muffler and tailpipe I made:428RWHP/388RWTQ SAE Corrected
This was threw an AUTOMATIC/4.10 10-bolt combo. With the cutout open and PS deleted it made: 441RWHP/401RWTQ.
Dont know where I'm at now with the 4.56/12-bolt but I figure somewhere around 420 threw the exhaust.
Bottom line: Car traps 121MPH at 3590lbs threw an auto

Vince,I made 416\398 like a year and a half back.Stage 1 heads,custom solid cam( 224\228 .580"\.580" 114 L\S ),stock MAF,Grott 1-3\4" headers and a 2-1\2" y-pipe,stock 10-bolt w\4.10 gears,McLeod clutch w\steel flywheel,stock driveshaft and SS rims with 275\40-17 nitto's at 20 something psi, hypertech tuning through an ATR exhaust.390\389 before the LS6 intake.It HAD to idle and drive good every day since it was my mother's car.
It ran consistant 11.4x at 122-123 in a 3520lb car, with a best of 11.35 @123.65 with such "conserative parts".
The new motor HP numbers, who knows or who cares. One day I will dyno it.I still argue that chassis dyno #'s don't mean anything and can't predict how a car will run,it's just a TUNING tool.Like you said, there are to many ways to cheat or alter numbers.
How does your car feel after breaking in a little?

Re: Could the people who dyno'd over 400rwhp minus cutout come inside.
Sources of variation:
1) matching of components (heads, cams, displacement, headers, etc.)
2) Drivetrain differences (10/12 bolt, converter vs M6, etc.)
3) HEADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4) Other engine stuff like compression, intake, etc.
Do not underestimate the importance of good flowing heads, especially the flow numbers over the average lift of your cam. This is why some people can build 422s and only get about 440 RWHP, while same displacement/intake/headers/drivetrain on another one can get well over 500 RWHP. This also holds for stock displacement engines.

Re: Could the people who dyno'd over 400rwhp minus cutout come inside.
My old heads/cam setup did 427rwhp/403rwtq through the crappy 3.5" Mufflex, stock wheels/driveshaft and the heavy Mcleod flywheel. This was with no custom tuning, just a 6600 revlimiter via hpp3.
I opened the cutout and did 442rwhp/416rwtq!

I got 414RWHP/387RWTQ with my ARE stage2 H/C,ls6 intake, Grot headers, no cats, 3inch y-pipe,SLP LM exhaust, custom 12 bolt with 4.10s and using my 315/35zr/17s on chrome 17x11 AFS ZR1 rims(heavy as hell). I really don't think I could be any louder except for open headers. I will change out my resonator for a borla bullet though, that rasp is irritating.

Well not me, 395rwhp/387rwtq. Kinda distresses me seeing all these dynos +30rwhp over mine. I like to pretend Im a cam only car, cause thats what it performs like!
