Could the people who dyno'd over 400rwhp minus cutout come inside.
I want to know how many people dyno over 400rwhp minus dyno tricks and cutouts. I keep hearing the same names over and over and I know most people have H/C packages now. I want SAE #'s. Not STD #'s.

Well I don't have any dyno tricks but I do have an M6, stock 10 bolt with 3.42s. Stock WS6 wheels with tires at 28 psi. I am running the offroads on my FLPs.

I guess you could call my aluminum flywheel, fuel pressure regulator, and carbon fiber driveshaft "dyno tricks" but they just counteract my big *** 33 spline 12 bolt w/ 3.73's if anything. If you run your car like that every day anyway, that wouldn't really be much of a dyno trick IMO.
Having grott headers and a 3" dual exhaust flows very well IMO...so a cutout wouldn't do much for me anyway.

403 At the rear. Thought that was pretty good. Performance wise I'm only using a ARE Stage 2 head setup with a 224/224 114 .581 cam. 1 7/8 Grot headers with the catted Y and a Corsa. Some dyno tuning at ARE and there you have it. Rest of the details are on my homepage.
I'm battling some misfire issues right now, but I think they are unrelated. Hopefully I'll get them resolved tomorrow.

Verb I do not count CFDS, fuel pressure regulators, or alum flywheels as dyno tricks. My flywheels is heavy as hell. Even heavier than my stock, but I like the way it grabs. I am sure I am losing some horsepower on the dyno with that. How much, who knows?

I would only loose about 3hp and and 9tq when we put on the random tech muffler. Other wise we ran with an open intermediate pipe over the axle. Also I use 315's on 17x11's to dyno on with the stock serpentine belt, stock drive shaft. No dyno tricks here. Have a true dual system now with bullets but don't consider that a dyno trick since that's how I drive it everyday.

Not going to post my last numbers Vince, but you know em
Chalk up another 420+ rwhp car with no cutout, 17X11s, stock flywheel and driveshaft, no icing, untuned.

Jason my flywheel came with my Centerforce DF clutch kit. I should have had the stock flywheel resurfaced and put it back in. I lift weights and I can feel the weight difference between the two flywheels. My Z06 flywheel is much lighter..

I just want to hear from them Joe. I was chatting with a friend and we were amazed how some H/C cars never make 400rwhp and some dyno 440rwhp. I know combos are different, but even the same combos show atleast a 20rwhp difference..

Some have big 12 bolts and 4.10 gears, some have stock rear ends and 3.42's.
Some are running through big torque converters...
You get the idea.....while the heads cam package may be the same, the surrounding components may not be. Not to mention every car is different.

Re: Could the people who dyno'd over 400rwhp minus cutout come inside.
I agree Verb.., but when both cars are adding things at the same rate and the only difference is the vendor that does the heads. 20rwhp to 40rwhp is a big difference. Justin and Chris from Thunder Racing were going on the same path. They dyno'd within 4rwhp of each other on stock heads. Chris chose GTP and Justin chose another company. If I remember correctly they are running similar bolt ons down to the rear. If not I am sure one of them will correct me. I do not think going from a stock rear to a 12 bolt would kill almost 50rwhp. I admit GTP is good, but that is a big difference over the competitors. ARE puts out awesome cars. Their track times reflect bigger #'s than their dyno #'s. Why is that?

Yes Chris with the GTP/TR224 dynoed 443rhwp through the Borla + a bullet muffler, stock flywheel, driveshaft, SS wheels, 12bolt with 4.10s, GTP 5.3L heads milled .15 thousandths.

I dynoed 405 rwhp through my closed up SLP dual dual muffler, 414 with it open...granted mine is an A4.

445 RWHP with MTI Stg II LS6 Heads/X1 Cam.
That's with Hooker Longtubes, a custom y-pipe and a Borla XR-1 muffler. Stock 10 bolt with 3.73's turning 17 x 11 drag radials.

I know my heads suck. I am not denying that. I am trying to understand the 50rwhp differences. I know tuning has a lot to do with it. MattG said he has no tuning and dyno'd 445rwhp.. Hmmm
