You cannot generalise by saying 110 will do that and 114 will do this.
The cam behavior is based on all VEs (valve events).

One tailors the VEs to the needs of the setup, ie the desired purpose of the combo.

So what this means is a 220/220 108LSA can be very beneficial for certain applications it a certain size motor.

While a 242/248 114 would be lazy in a 346, it would be nice in a 383 for exemple or a mildd 402/408
then you may wanna put some input in my thread I just made.

Not trying to Hijack..

Also Im just saying as a rule of thumb, that woyld be the idea. his cam decides his valve eventsand the kind of power he wants to make also relies on his heads, intake and exhuast setup, engine bore and stroke and all that.

Call Futral and talk to them about your setup. I went with the 228/230 and love it

As I said before...the TR 230/236 is a great all around cam. Awesome power, drives nice, easy to tune and sounds mean.

XFI cam with .576 lifts ????
Are you sure you do not mean XE?

I have XFI 230 exhaust lobe with .612 lifts and another cam with 224 lobe with .609 lifts.

I use XFI, LSK and XE-R (sometimes XE for boost) believe me when I say the problem is not in the lobe it is in your combo that must be mismatched.

(DUH, I just noticed you're LT1, this is LS1 section) anyways you comments are invalid for our motors.

I have the TR230 through an A4 and it picked up big power everywhere. It feels awesome and pulls hard all the way to 6600+. That's my vote.
