Default MS3 vs. MS4 cam w/ stock heads?

I posted this on ls2 but there seems to be some comflicting input about these being able to work with stock heads. So thought I'd try this site as it seems to be more technically inclined. :wall:

My car is finally going to be paid off next month and I will be buying one of these 2 cams to install. (hopefully, if they will work)
This will be my first engine mod w/ stock heads. On TSP's site, they mention that they tested this cam on a stock LS1 engine with no other changes besides the cam and itput down an additional 80hp. I dont care so much about the numbers at this point, My only concern is will either of these cams work well with stock heads, mainly interested in the MS4. I do plan on installing dual springs with either one but some say that exhaust valve clearance is going to be an issue.
I've e-mailed the sales dept ad TSP asking this but havent heard back from them so was would like to know if anyone is running either of these on stock heads and has personal experience?

Yeah, they'll both work fine with stock heads. You'll need supporting for either cam. Stall (if applicable), gears, headers, exhaust, etc. etc. Hope this helps you out!

Already covered in those areas. I've got full bolt ons (except gears) so this is the next step. And It's an M6 so no need to worry about a stall.

Forget the stall, now you need a clutch and a rear end.

Got a New Z06 clutch and flywheel installed last year. This is still my DD and It's never seen a track and very few street races. I Just want a huge nasty cam to have when i want to get on it now and again. Rear end will eventually come but I'm not worried about that right now because I wont be shredding the tires just for the hell of it.

You'll DEFINATELY want gears with either cam! Otherwise you'll probably ruin your clutch.

So of all the cams in the world, you've narrowed it down to these two? That's amazing in and of itself. I can't see stock heads flowing well enough to take full advantage of either, but especially the MS4. But then, I don't see where you say what car you have, so we can't know what your stock heads are anyway. Just know that in most cases, using such a big cam on stock heads, you'll have some cruddy compression, leading to poor bottom end power.
