Both are good heads. There have been quite a few 440+ rwhp MTI heads/cam cars, but I'm sure there are some GTP cars that are right up there.

You can't go wrong with either one, but MTI heads do cost a bit more.

i'm not that familar with gtp's. but you can't go wrong with MTI's, hand ported in-house and excellent flow numbers.

not that this should sway you but i've seen a race between 2 nearly identical f-bodys. both with full bolt-ons and same size cam, 1 with mti stage 2 ls6 heads, 1 with gtp stage 2 ls6 heads. the mti car had 1 or 2 car lengths the entire race

Honestly get whatever one is cheaper because both put down the numbers as well as the track times. You cant go wrong with either one.

I would say definitely MTI without hesitation. MTI has laid down the better dyno numbers and track times. I have never heard of a GTP headed car outperform an MTI headed car anywhere. MTI's heads do cost more than GTP's, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for.

Hands down, easy choice is MTI!!

I think both heads are awesome and both are pricey..but like mentioned earlier you get what you pay for.

He has run 11.0's at 125mph at 3380 race weight.

I say it's a toss up between the two myself.

Both of them you have to wait FOREVER to get it seems. There are 10/low 11 second GTP headed cars all over the place as well as MTI headed cars.

I was very pleased with my MTI heads/cam combo and I feel you would be too, they do top notch work. I believe Moose's set up was a solid roller, I don't know of any MTI 346 solid roller customers to compare his #'s with.

Good sized cam, not solid roller. One other thing to take in, Moose can drive. He'd prolly out drive 99.99 % of the M6 guys out there. Strong running GTP car. Don't think you can go wrong with either GTP or MTI.

Most guys named Terry on this board prefer MMS parts. Can't go wrong with 127mph in a NA heads/cam A4.

Keep in mind that you have gutted "race car" too. Also, a certain MTI Camaro which I think you've heard of, cough pepper, cough, is still quicker than your ride, and will look to get even quicker come this winter.

What does Pepper run in the summer heat? I heard 11.0@122. He's a lot more gutted than I am too!
