Derty.. You know if you take off those cats you will receive close to a 20rwhp increase.. I put cats on my car post cam and headers and lost 20rwhp.. I could not believe it..

Believe me I'm really debating about it. I'd have to take it in for another dyno tune anyway. New rear end on the way, will be here on Monday. So, if I can get someone to fab up a really nice setup for it I'll do it.

I've only got them on there to keep it legal in Michigan. Not that anyone checks, but that's why.

Derty has a full 3" Y with carsound cats most likely if they came with his grots (at least thats what came with mine when I ordered them). I only gained 7 rwhp when I removed my cats from the 3" Y.

I need to move out of Califreakinfornia so they won't impound the car at the sight of long tubes.

[5 months later in prison]
Well fellas, I took my car in to have it smogged and whaddaya know, its illegal to move the cats. Would you stop circling me now?

Cali sucks for emissions. You can get away with a lot more in other states. Many places don’t even have visuals. Some areas now (like mine) are OBDII scan only for ’96 and up. Makes passing real easy... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
