Sorry I dont have a scanner.

The only difference in mods is. that I added
a LS6 intake about the same time as the T1.
I actually ran a 11.98@118.48 on that set up,
on the same nittos.
The mods I had with both of them was.
3:73's, Grotts w O/R, lid, pullies,
pro dyno cat back.

Call me stupid. But sounds like the intake netted you the times/mph. More than the cam. Did you dyno with the T1 cam before or after the ls6 intake?

Ya Tim.
Im not much on Dynoing.
ive only Dynoed the car 3 times.
The T1 dyno was with the LS6 intake
And Im sure the intake helped but,
not 4 mph and 5 tenths worth.
I ran the same times with the hot cam
that I did with the 2001 LS6 cam. as soon as
i added the T1 I felt a huge power increase.
but never Dynoed before the intake went on.
And now with just the T1
Im running in the 11.8@117-118 range through a 12 bolt with 3:73's and a steel Denny'd D/S. and thats
in the Fl. summer heat. Im sure when winter gets
here, I will be able to hit some 11.5-6's at 119-120

Mechman - Thanks. I thought you got your Dyno sheets scanned at work as you indicated in the other thread in Nov. of 01. Do you have any idea how you account for a 4mph trap difference with only a 5rwhp dyno difference? Were you shifting both cams at the same rpm, did you have tuning (raised limiter, etc) for one and not the other, etc? Weather day differences, etc? Just trying to make sense of how 4mph=5rwhp.

The intake on Mechman's car probably helped out about 2 tenths/2 mph, and the T1 did the other 2 tenths/2 mph. Makes plenty of sense...

I dont know John,
Maybee damian is right. Maybee the car just
got fully broken in. I shifted both cams at
6400. Funny thing is I gained so much power
with the T1 and intake, everyone still thinks I have head work done. I think I picked up 6 mph with the 2 of them over just the stock cam.

I never did get the Dyno's scanned before I got fired.

i have seen car with a turbo put down 430 and get beat bye a car thats putting down 370.like that 488 rwhp trapping 114 it happens like that. it's wierd, but hp don't mean a lot if you can't back it up. with humid and hot weather. 3460lbs i have gone 117.50's and mechman who is on the same hp level, has gone 118 on 390hp. btw, we just dynoed today. he got me bye 2 hp. he is at 392 now. but i got's him bye torque we also have a guy who runs with us. he is a dam good driver. but he dynoed at 417hp. and is just a little over us in mph. just there can be so many different reason's. but mechman is telling you the god honest truth. i seen it with my own eyes.
