there is only two stampings on there. One says 121 then under it says 00. Then the other stamping just has the letter E. Is this the hotcam?

Matt

Re: bought hotcam how do I know it is for real?
Hey guys if this helps here are some pics I snapped off.

<img src="http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/3794195a/bc/1999+Trans+AM/hotcam01.jpg?bcliUo9AYeiqYe_e" alt=" - " />
The pics suck, but I hope they help. There is nothing written on top or bottom as you can see in the first two. The only stampings are like I said above.
Thanks,
Matt

You can always send it to Thunder Racing and have them put it on their Cam Doctor. I don't know how much it costs ($50 is a number that pops in to my head), but it'll tell you everything about the cam.
Either that, or degree it yourself with a degree wheel and a dial indicator.

Re: bought hotcam how do I know it is for real?
hmm, ok. I'll figure something out. I was hoping someone would know by the stampings, but no one so far. I think I'll take it up to a dealership and see if they have one in stock I can compare it to.
Thanks guys,
Matt
