A comp 218/218 114 on XE ramps, MMS 218 or a TR 220 114 would be on the top of my list. More aggressive cams have passed, but these are good street choices and you should not have to worry about being on the edge of passing if everything else isn't just perfect.

With sthock exhaust manifolds and Cats you can go pretty aggressive.Expecially since in Mass. they won't do emmision tests till around 30k miles on the speedo.I would say no bigger than a 224/224 on a 114 duration.I chose a 220/220 on 114 for a little room.
Also the biggest restriction after a cam install is the exhaust manifolds. You'll need to look into some sort of headers to get the most out of the cam.(you can be giving up to 45hp without headers)

Chris You gonna order those Macs I showed you earlier? How can you beat 499 with free shipping for Coated macs with ORY?

I think Im going to order some tomorrow. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and if I dont swear and curse and wanna burn my car after the install I may call Thunder Racing for a cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Did I say that? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I would go with a 224/224 with a 114lsa they make great power and should pass emsions no sweat.

Do it at once its a 1 day job on this motor. The cam is a breeze and the manifolds are easier then they look. This whole motor beleive it or not isnt that bad to work on. Compared to workin on LT1s its a cake walk

While not these monster cams coming out recently with .58x lift, they sure aren't peanut cams either.

My T/A passed inspection just today with a TR220/114 cam. It still has the stock manifolds/cats (for another 36 hours). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
